WARREN, R.I. — A 26-year-old Rhode Island man has been killed in a crash while driving home from Massachusetts.

Police say Kyle Geisel struck a curb on state Route 103 in Warren on Tuesday night and then hit a tree. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No one else was in the car.

Investigators believe Geisel was returning from Swansea.

Warren police say the crash is still under investigation but speed appears to be a factor.
