Criminal mischief
Franklin Self Storage, 771 S. State St.: A woman reported at 4:04 p.m. Sunday that someone attempted to break into her storage unit.
Counterfeiting
McDonald’s, 1139 U.S. 31 North: A manager reported at 2:33 p.m. Friday that a woman passed a fake $20 bill. The woman said she received the money at her job as a server in Franklin.

300 block of Pearl Street: A woman reported at 11:27 a.m. Sunday that someone tried to steal one of her puppies.
Counterfeiting
The Buckle, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 7:40 p.m. Saturday to a report that the store received five fake $10 bills.
Battery
1200 block of Beacon Pointe Drive: Police responded at 3:07 p.m. Friday to a report of battery that happened at Whiteland Community High School. The case was forwarded to the school’s administration or resource officer.
1000 block of Kings Mills Drive: Police responded at 7:38 p.m. Friday to a report of battery.
Thefts
Walmart, 11 N. Emerson Ave.: Police responded at 12:19 p.m. Friday to a report of theft. A man was arrested on charges of false reporting and an out of county warrant.
Fifth Third Bank, 106 N. State Road 135: Police responded at 3:34 p.m. Friday to a report of theft.
1100 block of Graham Road: Police responded at 12:33 p.m. Sunday to a report of theft.
400 block of Chaney Drive: Police responded at 4:45 p.m. Sunday to a report of a stolen vehicle.
Lady Foot Locker, 1251 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 4:49 p.m. Sunday to a report of a woman stealing clothing.

Intoxication
6800 block of South County Road 125W, Trafalgar: Police responded at 8:12 p.m. Sunday to a report of a man walking in the road. The man jumped toward the police officer’s vehicle and staggered toward another vehicle. The man said he had consumed alcohol and was arrested on charges of public intoxication, criminal recklessness and obstructing traffic.
Fraud
6800 block of South County Road 700E, Franklin: A woman reported at 9:44 p.m. Saturday that she received a message from her bank that fraudulent activity had taken place on her account.
Traffic offense
U.S. 31 North and West King Street: An officer conducted a traffic stop for a driving violation at 5:45 a.m. Sunday. A K9 dog alerted to drugs in the car. Drugs and drug paraphernalia were found. The passenger was arrested.
Suspicious Person
North Bluff Road and West County Line Road, Greenwood: An officer stopped at a gas station at 3:33 a.m. Saturday after he saw a man charging a cell phone using an outlet on the outside of the building. The man gave false identification information to the police and drug paraphernalia was found in his back pack. He was arrested.
