HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Police say two men found shot to death inside a Southern California apartment were brothers in their 20s.

Investigators said Monday they’re not ruling out a murder-suicide or an accident-suicide. Officials say there are no outstanding suspects.

Officers responded Sunday after receiving a distressed call from inside the home in Huntington Beach.

A handgun was found at the scene. Police say the brothers lived together at the apartment.

The Orange County Register reports they have been identified as 25-year-old Benjamin Ullestad and 22-year-old Brandon Ullestad.

It wasn’t clear made the call that led police to the home.
