GREENWOOD
Carol Lynn (Buckley) Traut, 68, of Greenwood, went home to be with the Lord November 14, 2017, with her family by her side after a six-year tenacious battle with cancer. She was born July 29, 1949, in Indianapolis, to the late William and Mary Jean Buckley.
She graduated from Southport High School in 1967. She married her “handsome New Yorker”, Thomas Traut, September 1, 1973. She was a member of Greenwood Christian Church and its Martha’s Circle group.
Survivors include her husband, Tom; daughter, Amy; son, Brian; daughter-in-law, Brandi; very precious granddaughter, Isabella; very precious grandson, Brody; sister, Diane; brother-in-law, Dave; brother, Ron; sister-in-law, Sue, as well as many other loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Arrangements are with G.H. Hermann Funeral Home, 1605 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 4:00 PM-8:00 p.m.. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood Christian Church or The Susan G. Komen Foundation.
