Richard Cook, 55 of Franklin, Indiana, passed away November 7, 2017 at his residence. He was born September 29, 1962 in Columbus, Indiana. He was the son of Richard Cook and Mary Margaret (Littlejohn) Gwin. He married Julie (Rexroat) Cook on November 9, 1985.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Andrew Cook of Franklin, Indiana and Brian Paul (Cherl Burton) Cook of Edinburgh, Indiana, a sister, Patty Gwin of Edinburgh, Indiana, grandchildren, Maddison Cook, Paisley Cook, and Presley Cook, and a step-grandson, Blayne Burton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, James Cook, a brother, Michael Gwin, and a grandson, Paul Anthen Cook.
He was a member of Grace Tabernacle Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. He retired from Quaker Oats in Indianapolis where he worked as a batcher.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 11, 2017 by Reverend Terry England at Grace Tabernacle Church. Calling will be from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
