MILWAUKEE — First responders have pulled a decomposed body from a lagoon near the Mitchell Park Domes in Milwaukee.

Fire officials say they received a report of body in the water Sunday afternoon. Arturo Pineda tells WTMJ-TV he was walking his dog when he spotted something in the water. Pineda says he called 911 when he discovered the body, which he described as skeletal remains.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner responded to the scene and is expected to perform an autopsy.

Police are investigating.
