Police investigating man shot in Franklin

Police are investigating a shooting at a Franklin home early Sunday morning.

A 21-year-old man was shot multiple times, and the most severe injury was to his arm, Franklin Police Chief Tim O’Sullivan said in a news release.

Police were called to the home at 1531 Younce St., north of downtown Franklin, just before 2 a.m. Sunday. The shooter had left the scene, but police quickly found him, O’Sullivan said.

Detectives were interviewing the people involved and other witnesses, he said. No one had been arrested as of early Sunday.

The man who was shot was taken to Eskenazi Hospital.
