Lawrence D. “Larry” Watson, 99, of Beech Grove, passed away November 1, 2017. Larry was born February 4, 1918 in Trafalgar, IN the son of Virchil and Cordelia (Green) Watson. He was a US Army Veteran of WW II and worked in the Shipping Department at General Motors for many years retiring in 1980. He was a member of the U.A.W in Indianapolis, a 50 plus year member of the Beech Grove Masonic Lodge #694 F&AM, and a longtime member of the First Christian Church in Beech Grove. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred (Duncan) Watson in 2004, his parents; sisters, Irene Duckett, Gladys Watson, Pansy Tucker, Auvie Ashley, Mildred Hughes, Carol Parker and Eula Galey; brothers, Clancy and Donald Watson, and an infant brother Granvil Watson; nieces, Phyllis Miller, Patty Ann Graves and Nephew, Ronald Duckett.

Surviving are nieces and nephews, Betty Moore, Joyce Duckett, Billy Dean Tucker, Richard Hughes, Bruce Parker, Wayne Dale Tucker, Sharon Stearns, Bettie Gholston, Nell Rose Pettit, Jan Watson, Donna Jo Watson, Linda Records, Sue Randolph and Donald Wayne Watson.

Little & Sons Funeral Home-Beech Grove will hold visitation in the chapel at the Indiana Masonic Home, 690 State St., Franklin, IN, Monday, November 6th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
