Ruth Alice (Arnold) Myers, 95, of Bargersville, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017, in Franklin. She was born on June 22, 1922, in Mechanicsburg, Illinois, to Earl and Hortense (Baker) Arnold.
She was a homemaker. Ruth enjoyed sewing and making beautiful quilts, she was a wonderful quilter. She enjoyed cooking and going to garage sales.
Ruth is survived by her children, Judy Michaels of West Lafayette, John (Peggy) Redding of Plainfield, and Loren (Terri) Scalf of Morgantown; her sisters, Betty Hines of Springfield, Illinois, Norma, Carol both of Washington, and Shirley Crowley, of Springfield, Illinois; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Myers; one son, Roger Redding; two brothers, Charles and Bob Arnold, and three sisters, Marie, Mary, and Edna.
The family will hosting a visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4th, the funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 N. Hwy. 31. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Glenns Valley, in Greenwood.
