4 arrested after police discover drug-mailing plot

Four people have been arrested after police said they plotted to mail drugs to an inmate at the Johnson County jail.

Briannan Severado, 23, of Greenwood, Kyle Godbold, 21, of Greenwood, David Creasey, 31, of Indianapolis, and Lyle Greene, 30, of Indianapolis, were arrested on a charge dealing in methamphetamine.

Johnson County Sheriff’s Office investigators reviewed a series of calls in which Severado and Godbold were working to mail meth to Creasey and Green, who were inmates at the jail, court documents said.

The plan was for Severado to mail a card containing meth to an inmate, the documents said.

On Monday morning, Creasey called Severado, who said she was at the post office with her 4-year-old child and that Godbold had taken the card containing a thin piece of meth in saran wrap into the post office, the documents said.

Deputies got the card at the post office and found meth inside, the documents said.

Severado and Godbold, both of 98 E. Acree Drive, were arrested and taken to the Johnson County jail, where they were held on $6,600 bond.

Creasey, 1722 Luke Lane, and Greene, 7024 Tassel Meadow Drive, are now facing additional charges and had their bond increased by $6,600.
