Credit card skimmers found on gas pumps

Credit card skimmers were found on two gas pumps at a Franklin gas station.

The devices, which collect credit and debit card numbers when cards are swiped, were found at the Circle K station at 10 U.S. 31 North, according to the police report.

An employee called police twice on Sunday. He had found one device that police came and collected, and then found another shortly after, the report said.

The employee told police the devices could have been there for as long as two weeks, the report said.
