WEAVERVILLE, N.C. — A woman with outstanding warrants charging her with embezzlement has been found dead at her North Carolina home.

Local media reported Asheville police had said Thursday they were looking for 56-year-old Penelope Ann Frisby of Weaverville. Frisby had nine outstanding warrants accusing her of taking more than $235,000 from the Asheville law firm where she worked.

Asheville police said Friday morning that Frisby was found dead at her home. There were no details about how she died.
