Emma Rose Moore

FRANKLIN

Emma Rose Moore, 17, of Franklin, IN., passed away Monday, October 23, 2017, at Riley Hospital for Children IU Health in Indianapolis.

She was born August 15, 2000 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis to Scott and Jenny J. (Bertsch) Moore. She was a junior at Franklin Community High School where she was a member of the student council and participated in the Riley Dance Marathon. She was a competitive dancing “Rosette” at Le Rose Dance Academy where she was also an assistant instructor. Emma has performed at Walt Disney World and countless other venues across the Midwest. In 2016 her team won third place at a National Dance Competition, Gatlinburg, TN.

She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin where she was involved in missions having served in Guatemala. She was an animal lover, especially to her two dogs Max and Mabel. Survivors include her parents Scott and Jenny J. (Bertsch) Moore of Franklin, two sisters Rebecca Katherine Moore of Franklin, and Isabella Grace Moore of Franklin, maternal grandparents Monte and Verna (Owens) Jordan of Franklin, paternal grandparents John and Marietta (Norris) Moore of Franklin, aunts and uncles Amy and Dewayne Hudson of Indianapolis, John and April Moore of Bloomington, IN, Rachael and Joey Hagan of New Whiteland, IN, Thomas and Elissa Moore of Franklin, IN. and Kathleen Moore of Cincinnati, OH, and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Karen (Stambro) Moore, aunt Molly Fleener, and cousin Kylie Morgan Jean Hudson. The Reverends Jenothy Rather and Andy Kinsey will conduct a service Monday, October 30, 2017, at 5PM at Grace United Methodist Church, 1300 East Adams Street in Franklin.

Friends may call Sunday from 2-7 p.m. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, and Monday from 4 p.m. until service time at the church. Final resting place will take place in the Grace United Methodist Church Columbarium in Franklin.
