Alma Howard, 82, of Greenwood passed away October 23, 2017.
She was born on April 6, 1935 in Glasgow, KY to Herbert Lee and Betty Avis (White) Gregory. Alma enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed and remembered as a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, who also doubled as our spitfire.
Alma was preceded in death by her son, Robert Morris; daughter, Karen Sue Jones; brother, Walter William Gregory and stepfather, Walter Gregory. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Arthur Lee Howard; 1 stepson; 1 stepdaughter; 1 brother; 4 sister; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 28 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
