PROVIDENCE, R.I. — No injuries have been reported after a fire started in an abandoned home in Rhode Island.

WJAR-TV reports the fire broke out at a Providence home Wednesday evening. Authorities say the fire started on the first floor of the vacant home before spreading to a nearby home.

Authorities say one of the homes has been damaged in the fire.

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
