HARRISBURG, Pa. — Authorities say 25 students were hospitalized after two school buses crashed in Pennsylvania.

Police say the buses were transporting students from Northern York Middle School Wednesday afternoon when one of the buses rear-ended the other in Silver Spring Township. No serious injuries were reported.

A school district spokesman says 96 students were on board for a field trip. All of the students hospitalized were done so out of precaution.

Uninjured students were sent back to the middle school and dismissed at their normal time.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
