Church offers movie with live organ music

A viewing of a classic, spooky movie is coming with live organ music at a church concert to celebrate Halloween.

First Presbyterian Church, 100 E. Madison St., Franklin is hosting a Halloween organ concert at 2 p.m. Oct. 29.

Organists Nara Lee and Colin Andrews will play the soundtrack of “Phantom of the Opera,” along with a showing of the movie. The event is free.

Andrews is the music director for the church. He also conducts overseas tours each year.

Lee is the former organist at Tabernacle Christian Church.

People and children are encouraged to come in costume.

Treats will be handed out.
