Library will bring books to your vehicle

A local library system has started a program that will allow readers to have books delivered to their vehicle.

Johnson County Public Libraries now has JCPL to Go, which is a curbside service offered to people who want to check out items from their branches.

Card holders can select what they would like to check out and order them online at www.pageafterpage.org and clicking on “find and reserve it at your branch” at the bottom of the page. Readers also can call the library and have the book pulled for them.

A librarian will alert you when the items are pulled and will deliver them to your car.

Motorists should park in a designated space for the service and call the number on the sign.
