PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Police are investigating after a man was stabbed and robbed in Providence.

WJAR-TV reports that it happened just after 4:30 a.m. Saturday. Police say the victim reported being stabbed several times and robbed of his money and cellphone outside a bank.

Police say the man then went across the street to a parking lot to wait for officers and rescue.

The man was not badly hurt. No arrests have been made.
