SELBYVILLE, Del. — Police in Delaware say a man hurt in a two-vehicle crash has died of his injuries.

State police said in a news release Thursday that 73-year-old Philip E. Lockwood of Selbyville was driving a Jeep Cherokee on Sept. 29 in Selbyville. Troopers say a New Jersey man driving a Kia Soul failed to stop at a stop sign at an intersection and was hit by the Jeep.

Investigators say the impact of the crash caused the Jeep to spin around and hit a utility pole.

Troopers say Lockwood was taken to a hospital, where he died on Sunday.

The driver of the Kia and his passenger were taken to hospitals with undetermined injuries.

The crash is under investigation. No charges have been filed.
