<div>A pursuit that began after a Greenwood resident reported seeing someone on their property ended after a crash on the southside.</div>
A resident on Main Street in Greenwood called police, after seeing a suspicious person. The person fled, and deputies began chasing the vehicle.</div>
The driver turned onto Arlington Avenue and showed a gun before driving off the road, striking utility poles and then a tree, Sheriff Doug Cox said.</div>
Investigators suspect the driver shot himself at the end of the chase, Cox said.
