Franklin team caps perfect season
The seventh-grade football team at Franklin Community Middle School recently completed a perfect season and won a Mid-State Conference championship.
The Grizzly Cubs finished the year with an 8-0 record and outscored their opponents by a combined 373-77 margin. The team was coached by Charles Hessman, Mark Stevenson, Brian Shepard, Dave Reese and John Byerly.
Franklin’s “B” team also sported a perfect 6-0 mark.
