Rebels take crown

Roncalli swept Perry Meridian 25-18, 25-19, 25-12 on Saturday evening to win the championship match of the Class 4A Decatur Central Sectional.

The Rebels (25-8) will face No. 3 Avon in the semifinals of the Greenfield-Central Regional this Saturday morning.

“It’s special for this group to win the sectional,” Roncalli coach Missy Marsh said. “To return most of last year’s team and come back with a conference title, a county title and now a sectional title, it’s very meaningful. We’re excited for the next challenge.”
