Rosemary (Barnett) Deer-Torrance, 97, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Caldwell County Hospital in Princeton, KY. She was a resident of Bargersville, IN.
She was born on January 27, 1920 in Hensley Township (Johnson County), IN to Forest and Maxie (Taylor) Barnett. She married Irvin “Abe” Deer on May 1, 1938. He passed away on April 25, 1984. She later married William Torrance on July 1, 1990. He preceded her in passing on March 31, 2005. Survivors include her daughter Connie Logan; granddaughters Tammy Adams, Robin Burnett, Kimberly Jenkins; great grandchildren Josh, Paige, Aubrey, Jacey; one niece; one nephew; step sons Robert Torrance, Dennis Torrance, Larry Torrance; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her son Max Deer; and brother, Lydle Barnett.
Rosemary was a 1938 graduate of Union High School.
She was a 50 year member of Providence Christian Church. She was a 50 year member of Union Village Chapter 584 OES.
A private family graveside service will be conducted.
