AGAWAM, Mass. — A car crash held up traffic for hours in Massachusetts, meanwhile the driver and their possible passengers can’t be found.

Agawam police tell The Republican the crash involved a single car. Police say first responders found the car on its roof on Route 5 around 3 p.m. Wednesday, but there was no one inside.

The severity of the crash led to the state police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and Crime Scene Services being called to investigate.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the Agawam Police Traffic Bureau.
