Charles (Bill) “Scrounge” W. Reed, 71, of Greenwood, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017, in Indianapolis. He was born on May 20, 1946, in Indianapolis, to his parents, Charles F. and Helen W. (Tucker) Reed. Bill was a graduate from Greenwood High School. He married Pamela Kirsch, on January 23, 1968, in Greenwood, In.
He was a lowboy operator for Gradex Inc. Bill enjoyed car and tractor shows and watching the hit and miss engines.
Bill is survived by his wife, Pamela Reed; his children, Timothy Reed of Fairland, Jake Reed of Greenwood, and Sheri Reed of Franklin; three grandchildren, Samantha, Kelsay, and Taylor Reed and one great-granddaughter, Aubree Hollingsworth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Reed; and his sisters, Sally Ann Reed and Mary Lou (Reed) Scott.
