FRANKLIN
Gloria Helen Beckley, age 81, of Franklin, passed away on Saturday morning, October 7, 2017.
Gloria was born on February 21, 1936, the only child to Clifford Burton and Helen G. (Patton) Burton Marshall, in Crossville, TN. On October 28, 1954, she married the love of her life, Max E. Beckley, who preceded her in death in 2005.
Gloria was a home maker and loved being a mom, Nanny and Grand-Nanny. She was an avid Yankees and Cubs fan and loved to go fishing. She was a long-time member of Southminster Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.
Survivors include her three daughters, Julia Luebkeman of Greenwood, Brenda Beckley of Greenwood and Karen Lynn (Jeff) of Beech Grove; seven grandchildren, Erika (Don), Angela (Heather), Laura (Philip) , Lisa (Chris), Matthew, Jack (Stephanie) and Alex; and seven great-grandchildren, Autumn, Philip II, Katie, Evan, Kylie, Connor and Matilda.
A funeral service will be held at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 9950 Southeastern Ave., Indianapolis, IN, on Wednesday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m.. The family will receive guests at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow at Acton Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Gloria H. Beckley’s memory to the Southminster Presbyterian Church.
