RICHMOND, Va. — A second man has died from injuries suffered during a weekend shooting in a Richmond business district.

Media outlets report that 29-year-old Deonte Bullock of Richmond died Sunday afternoon after being taken to a local hospital.

The other victim, 25-year-old Oscar W. Lewis II, also of Richmond, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say officers in the Shockoe Bottom district of downtown Richmond heard gunshots Sunday at 1:15 a.m., and found the two men shot.

Shockoe Bottom is home to bars and restaurants that often stay open late.

No arrests have been made. Police are investigating and requesting information from the public.
