Two 13-year-old boys are under arrest for allegedly plotting to kill people at their middle school in Colorado Springs.

Police said Monday the students at Sabin Middle School were arrested Friday following an investigation that uncovered guns and other evidence.

Police spokesman Lt. Howard Black said investigators learned the students had established a “kill list” and were messaging each other to decide how to carry it out. He said police were tipped off by an adult who overheard other children talking about what was happening.
