DELAND, Fla. — Colin McGovern ran for two scores, Stetson’s defense grabbed two interceptions that led to scores, and the Hatters held off Brown 17-13 on Saturday for its first win of the season.

After Stetson missed a fourth-quarter field goal, Brown’s Darius Daies scored on a 12-yard run to cap a 75-yard drive with 8:55 left. The Bears reached the Hatter’s 34 with 1:48 to play before fumbling the ball away.

Brown (2-2) led 7-3 in the second quarter after Linta, 14 of 21 for 143 yards with the interception, hit Jaerlon Blanburg on a 40-yard pass.
