OGDEN, Utah — Allegiant Airlines is now flying nonstop from Ogden to Los Angeles.

The Standard-Examiner reports (http://bit.ly/2z1sW1f ) the new flight service began Thursday.

According to a statement from the airline, it will fly from the Ogden-Hinckley Airport to the Los Angeles International Airport twice a week.

Allegiant also offers flights to Las Vegas and Mesa, Arizona.

Allegiant is looking into adding Oakland, California and Florida to the list of flights it offers in Ogden.
