WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump has signed a proclamation honoring National Manufacturing Day, saying his administration is helping “compete and win on the world stage.”

He says he’s sending some Cabinet secretaries around the country to talk to American workers.

Trump appeared in the Oval Office with members of the National Association of Manufacturers, including BTE Technologies Inc. and Eagle.
