WILLISTON, N.D. — Authorities have identified an 87-year-old Williston man killed in a crash in Williams County.

The Highway Patrol says the sport utility vehicle driven by Robert Barkie collided with a semitrailer at a U.S. Highway 2 intersection north of Williston midday Wednesday.

Barkie was declared dead at a Williston hospital. The semi driver from Georgia wasn’t injured.
