A meal out can help the family of a fallen officer.
Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar is conducting a Dine to Donate event for the family of Southport Police Lieutenant, Aaron Allan. Allan was killed while on duty in July.
The event is from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 10. Local restaurants participating include the locations in Edinburgh, Franklin and Greenwood.
Fifteen percent of a diner’s bill will go toward helping the family. Diners participating in the event should inform their server.
