GREENWOOD
Eric Keith Dykes, 64, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017. He was a resident of Greenwood.
He was born December 25, 1952 in Franklin, IN to Jesse Curtis Dykes and Ruth Patterson Dykes. He married Sue Ellen (Hilgeman) Conway on January 18, 1998 in Florida. He is survived by his wife, Sue Dykes of Greenwood; two daughters, Melissa (Andy) Smith of Carmel, IN and Katherine (David) Wiley of Middlesboro, KY; three brothers, Jim (Jerri) Dykes of Greenwood, David Dykes of Waverly, IN, and Kent (Jacquie) Dykes of Indianapolis; sister, Patricia (Bob) Laurella of Hemet, CA; three grandchildren, Jonah, Maren, and Sophie; and his dog and best friend, Maggie.
Eric was employed as an auto worker at General Motors in Indianapolis for 30 years.
Visitation hours will take place from 1 to 3 p.m., Friday, October 6, at Wilson St.Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel. Rev. Doug Lofton will officiate a funeral service at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
