A new Culver’s restaurant is planned in Greenwood along Emerson Avenue and is set to open at the beginning of next year.
Culver’s will use about half of a 2-acre property on the west side of Emerson Avenue, south of County Line Road, between First Merchants Bank and BioLife Plasma Services. City boards will need to review plans before a building permit is issued, Greenwood Planning Director Bill Peeples said.
Construction is planned to start before the beginning of next year, with the restaurant opening in the first quarter of 2018, Culver’s spokesperson Paul Pitas said.
Culver’s has one restaurant in Johnson County, at 320 State Road 135. No other Culver’s are planned for Johnson County at this time, he said.
