FRANKLIN
Johnnie Wayne Wilcox Jr. 81, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017. He was born on July 2, 1936, in Grapeland, Texas, to his parents, John W. and Minnie (Aldredge) Wilcox.
He was a project manager for Midwest Molding Inc., in the Chicago area, for 26 years. He enjoyed gardening, flowers, camping, fishing, and riding his golf cart.
Johnnie is survived by his wife, Glenda (Willis) Wilcox, seven children, Robin (Susan) Hicks of Franklin, Larry (Patricia) Wilcox, Brian (Amy) Wilcox, Randy (Kay) Wilcox, all of Georgia, Deniese (Roger) Hopkins and Larry Hicks, both of Franklin, and Miko Hicks of Alabama; one sister, Vicky Wilcox of Tyler, Texas.; fifteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family will be hosting a visitation from 5:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Jessen Funeral home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 N. U.S. Hwy. 31, with a funeral service immediately following.
