Fraud
Lake City Bank, 705 S. State Road 135: An employee reported at 1:47 p.m. Thursday that a man had attempted to cash a fraudulent check. The man was arrested.

Dye’s Walk, 2080 S. State Road 135, Greenwood: An employee reported at 4:30 p.m. Thursday that a man stole a case of beer and more than $400 in cash from the business. The man also attempted to drill a hole in a safe.
