TUCSON, Ariz. — Police in Tucson say they’re looking for a man who’s suspected in the death of a woman on Tucson’s south side.

They say 43-year-old Mario Dorame is wanted on a felony arrest warrant for suspicion of first-degree murder.

Police say the family of 52-year-old Maria Escobedo asked them to do a welfare check Sunday after not hearing from her for days.

Officers found her dead inside a home.

Police say Escobedo didn’t live at the house, but two men do and Escobedo reportedly had a relationship with one of the men who’s identified as Dorame.

They say an investigation is ongoing to determine when Escobedo died.

Authorities say an autopsy will determine the cause and manner of death.
