Adam McClellan Bailey, 37, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on September 29, 2017. He was born on October 20, 1979 in Indianapolis, IN to Dennis Bailey and Carol Wheaton.
Adam was a jack of all trades, lover of the Indianapolis Colts, the Chicago Cubs and had an infectious smile and laugh that will never be forgotten.
Survivors include his loving wife of 13 years, Melissa Bailey; son, Ayden Bailey; his bulldog, Lola; mother, Carol (Tim) Wheaton; brother, Aaron (Chastity) Bailey; nieces and nephews, Tyson Bailey, Tinsley Bailey, Andrew Vivas and Samantha Vivas; in-laws, Stephen and Kathleen Krajcir; sister-in-law, Amanda Simion and her children who called Adam “Animal,” Dominic, Jonah and Carter; brother-in-law, Stephen Krajcir; grandparents, Forrest and Joyce True as well as many friends and family who will miss him dearly.
Adam is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Bailey; brother, Thor Bailey; sister, Tamara Vivas; grandparents, Leonard and Martha Bailey and Carl and Gloria Sahm; aunt and uncle, Lee and Cindy Bailey.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 South State Road 135 and Olive Branch Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, 8300 Rahke Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46217. Burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
