WATERBURY, Vt. — A Florida woman is charged with credit card fraud and financially exploiting a vulnerable adult.

Vermont State Police said 52-year-old Karen Kelly-Danielle of Boynton Beach was working as a caretaker this spring when she issued herself large personal checks from her victim’s bank account. Police didn’t provide an estimate of the alleged fraud and said it occurred throughout spring 2017.

Police said that Kelly-Danielle was also fraudulently using her victim’s credit card in Florida.

Police said Kerry-Danielle was cited to appear Oct. 26 in Washington County court.

Efforts to reach Kelly-Danielle were unsuccessful.
