Farmer had walked away while deputies were searching the vehicle, and a deputy spotted him running across nearby Smokey Row Road. He continued running until the deputy threatened to use his Taser or release a police dog, the report said.

Farmer was arrested on a charge of maintaining a common nuisance and resisting law enforcement.

Both were taken to the Johnson County jail.

Russell, 2859 Clear Lake Way, and Farmer, 10756 Glenayr Drive, were both held on $2,200 bond.
