Don and Debbie Applegate of Greenwood announce the engagement of their son, Stephen Applegate of Indianapolis, to Kara Sue Miller of Indianapolis, daughter of Steve and Karen Miller of Indianapolis.
Miss Miller graduated from Roncalli High School and Marian University. She teaches math at Greenwood Community High School.
The future groom graduated from Center Grove High School and attended Purdue University and Ivy Tech. He works in internet sales at Carver Toyota.
The wedding is set for Jan. 6 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church.
