FRANKLIN
Margaret Jane (Wright) Ramsey, 97, of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017. She was born, September 8, 1920, in Franklin, Indiana, to her parents, John Clark and Gladys (Kellams) Wright. She wed, Ralph Emerson Ramsey on July 5th, 1935, in Jamestown, Kentucky.
She was a housewife and a farmer. She enjoyed knitting, reading, and fishing.
Margaret is survived by her four children, Ronald Lee Ramsey, Ralph Ramsey Jr., Lois Jean (Ramsey) Weber, and William Joseph Ramsey, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Emerson Ramsey, her parents, John and Gladys Wright, and one sister Norma Lou (Wright) Miller.
The family will be hosting a visitation from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Jessen Funeral Home, Franklin Chapel, 197 E. Jefferson St., with the funeral service following at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
