INDIANAPOLIS
Lois L. Christy, 85, of Indianapolis, went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2017. She was the owner of multiple business venues, member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 270 and the AKC Kennel Club.
A doll collector, Lois collected dolls, especially Shirley Temple dolls; an animal lover, she raised English Bulldogs and was the Matriarch of Christys Auctions. Lois is survived by sons, Jack L. (Teresa) Christy, Bob (Kathy) Christy and Phil (Denise) Christy, all of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Melissa Christy Davis, Jack Christy Jr., Ashley Christy Russell, Ross Christy, Whitney Christy and Adam Christy; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack F. Christy. Visitation will take place September 30th at Forest Lawn Funeral Home – 1977 South State Road 135 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Private entombment at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
