If you need thrifty new duds for Halloween, the Johnson County Recycling District and Franklin Parks and Recreation Department have you covered.
County residents are invited to the “Respook, Rewear, Rescare” event at the Franklin Cultural Arts and Recreation Center, 396 Branigin Road, Franklin, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 13.
Participants can bring in a clean, gently used costume to exchange for another costume.
Costumes should be in good condition and cannot have tears or stains.

Hundreds of quality new and used costumes are available in sizes ranging from infant to adult. Costumes are not available for purchase, only to swap.
