Braves slip past Eagles

Emma Dennis had 10 kills to help lead Indian Creek to a 25-20, 25-12, 22-25, 25-17 triumph against Brown County on Tuesday.

Tori Travers and Malea Brownfield each had nine digs for the Braves, with Brownfield also serving up four aces. Indian Creek entered Johnson County tournament play Wednesday at 21-6 overall, 4-0 in the WIC.

Rebels take sectional opener

Roncalli swept Indianapolis Lutheran, 5-0, in the first round of the Franklin Central Sectional. Bryson Meek, Alex Payne and Austin Schofield claimed the singles points, while Jacob Perez and Tyler Pollard won at No. 1 doubles and Garrett Meek and Tyler Schofield rolled at No. 2.

The Rebels face the host Flashes today.
