Mark Thomas Webb

FRANKLIN

Mark Thomas Webb, 53, passed away on Monday evening, September 25th, 2017 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.

He was born on June 24th, 1964 in Franklin, Indiana to Donald E. Webb and Judith A. (Prall) Walters. Mark is survived by longtime companion, Jodi Taylor and her grandson, Isaiah Taylor; mother, Judith Walters of Venice, Florida; father, Donald Webb of Franklin; brother, Gary (Cindy) Webb of Nineveh; nephew, Zach M. Webb; niece, Hannah Webb; Aunt, Nancy Ray; four great nieces and one great nephew. He was preceded in passing by his maternal grandparents, Carl and Zoe Prall and paternal grandparents, Ora and Doris Webb.

Mark was a 1982 graduate of Franklin Community High School.

He was the Sexton at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin for several years. He most recently has been self-employed in the funeral industry.

Mark loved Indy Car Racing; caving and bicycling. He was an Honorary Kentucky Colonel. He was a member of the Eastern Indiana Grotto where he served as Treasurer.

A celebration of Mark’s life will be held on Friday, September 29th at 7:00 p.m. at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call on Friday, September 29th from 4:00 p.m. to time of service at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A private family burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
