Local marching bands performed on local turf this weekend, snagging top 10 finishes.
Greenwood Community High School hosted their annual invitational and most local bands competed in Greenwood. Twenty-nine bands competed at the annual invitational.
The Marching Trojans of Center Grove High School marched their way to second place in Class A, with a caption award for best percussion.
Whiteland’s Marching Warriors placed seventh in Class A and earned the People’s Choice Award.

The Blue Regiment at Franklin Community High School placed sixth in open Class B. The percussion section placed second in the class.
Indian Creek High School’s Marching Braves placed sixth in Class C.
Greenwood’s Marching Woodmen and Irish Guard performed in exhibition at their own invitational.
