Brian D. Irish, 45, of Greenwood passed away unexpectedly on the afternoon of September 19, 2017. He was born on October 11, 1971 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Robert B. Irish II and Judith Irish. Brian was a 1990 graduate of Roncalli High School and attended IUPUI studying business. He was employed with O’Neal Steel in Shelbyville, working in sales.
Brian’s children were the joy of his life and he enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed laughing and making those around him laugh. Brian enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, softball and woodworking. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching Notre Dame football and Chicago Cubs baseball.
Brian is survived by his children, Ayden Irish, Rylee Irish and Bailey Blanford; mother, Judy Irish; brother Brad (Susan) Irish; niece and nephews Connor Irish, Hannah Irish, Jarret Irish; grandmother Dorothy Irish; several aunts, uncles, cousins; and mother of his children Trina Miles. He is preceded in passing by his father Robert Irish II; grandparents Robert Irish, Mitch and Joan Dundich.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 25, 2017 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center. Visitation will be 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24 and one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. The family has suggested that memorial contributions be offered to The Children’s Scholarship Fund in care of Judy Irish.
